About once a month in Antelope, CA… Sometimes twice, I try to get together with friends and battle it out at Texas Holdem. We play a cash game, low stakes (.25/.50 blinds max buy-in $40), so no one can lose very much at any one time. We used to play tournaments, but if someone ‘busts out’, they had nothing to do until the rest of us “finish”. So we decided cash game allows people to buy back in. It’s more a social thing. It’s kind of like in the past when the ‘adults’ played bridge. As Doyle Brunson says “It takes a minute to learn and a lifetime to master!”.
